Texas Exes Alumni Center is flanked by the football stadium on one side and a creek on the other side. It is an area for pre- and post-game events, lectures, presentations, and exhibits, as well as an area for students to enjoy during school days. This area is a simple, light steel structure that contrasts with the massive concrete structure of the football stadium across the street. Its building was completed in October 2004. The Cowboys organization usually donates time and funds to UT Elementary School. In the courtyard of Texas Cowboys Pavilion, there is a sculpture, called "Hope", it shows Nancy, a mother (graduate of the University of Texas at Austin) reading a passage of the Bible among her children Emily and Robby and the family's dog, the hope shines through her eyes even in her last days while battles cancer.
